Shaken to the core
With blue ink
the paper’s flooded
in which we sink
until we got it
so interesting
– us arresting.
Everything around us
which unnecessarily bounds us
we regard it less
regardless
of it’s importance
we regard it as
really intense
no matter which tense
it’s written in.
Overwhelming – we’re sittin‘ in
metaphoras and articisms
perfect rhymes and comparisons.
Poetry – bright as light
we’re into it – timeconsuming like 9to5;
eloquentive phrases
in many different voices
getting us to places
setting up new traces
and we’re slowly gettin‘ deeper
in the role of the reader
as the story’s speaker
becomes our leader
and leads us steep and steeper
on it’s peak we meet her
weep freely and then greet her
to thank for this reality
and stick now in fidelity
with patterns of words
with letters and words
of fulfilling creations
that lead us in different directions:
Make us happy, make us bright;
feeling lucky feeling light;
raise a laugh;
evoke fear we fought,
sadden us,
madden us,
make us like a seashell – unsure:
Oh lord! I am shaken to the core!
